Returns and refunds.
This is a distance contract and includes cancellation rights as detailed below. Please note, however, that these rights do not extend to contracts for goods manufactured to your specifications or items that are clearly personalised. Accordingly, we regret that orders for bespoke teepees or accessories and bespoke wash bags cannot be cancelled. This policy is consistent with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
You can cancel your order for readymade, non-customised items within 7 days of receipt by emailing cari@atticusandelbie.co.uk. Once we confirm your order qualifies for cancellation, please return the item to us at your expense. We recommend using a tracked delivery service for proof of return.
Goods must be returned in 'as new' condition. We may reduce your refund if goods show signs of handling beyond what is reasonable to determine their conformity with the contract.
Returns
If you receive an item that is faulty or damaged, please contact us upon receipt at cari@atticusandelbie.co.uk so that we can arrange a replacement.
Under the Consumer Rights Act, you have 30 days from the purchase date to report a faulty product. We will either replace the item or provide a full refund.
If you report a faulty item after 30 days, we can repair or replace it. Please send the item using tracked delivery, and keep your postage receipt—we'll refund your shipping if the item is confirmed faulty. After we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you and arrange repair, replacement, or a refund.
Refunds
Refunds, when applicable, will be issued to the original payment method, typically within 14 days. If you have been advised that a refund has been processed but do not see the funds credited, please review your bank or credit card statement carefully before reaching out to us. Occasionally, there may be a slight delay in the posting of funds to your account. Should you still not receive your refund after completing these steps, please contact us at cari@atticusandelbie.co.uk.
Gifts
We can ship gifts straight to recipients—just let us know by email when you order. If a gift arrives faulty, the recipient may contact us for a replacement.
If an item was not designated as a gift at the time of purchase and no alternative delivery address was provided, refunds or replacements may only be processed through the original purchaser.
